NATURAL RESOURCES How can we protect our environment?
Water, soil, animals, and plants are renewable resources if used carefully. Read and discover more about our beautiful region and think about how we can protect it.
The Dmitrov District is situated in a convenient
distance of just 25 km to the north of Moscow and can be reached from the
capital by train, bus, or car in an hour. Thankfully, with its entire cultural
and historical heritage the district still retains generous amounts of green and
leafy spaces, which are a joy to explore or simply relax in.
There are significant water and forestation reserves in the region to facilitate
its powerful appeal as a recreational resort for Muscovites as well as many
other people from different parts of Russia and abroad. Predominately evergreen
forests cover more than 50% of the district’s land, and many of them are under
protection by law. A lot of wild animals live there. Perhaps, the oaks and
birch trees allies here are the most striking, especially in summer, also if
you take The Moscow Canal goes through the district with half-year navigation, also provides for about half of Moscow's water consumption, and its
shores and reservoirs are used as recreation zones.
However, while the Dmitrov District is not an industrial one, compared to other Moscow region districts, and its ecological situation is satisfactory at the moment, we should do our best to protect one of the most beautiful places and ensure its environmental prosperity for the generations to come.
Discussion: What should we do to protect natural
resources of the place we live in?
Nice..
ReplyDeleteTo protect the natural resources of the place where we live, we need to:
ReplyDelete1) Keep our water clean and save water .
2 ) Save trees and forests (do not cut them down).
3) Limit hunting of animals and fishing.
4) Limit the release of rubbish ( stop littering in nature, sort garbage, dividing what can and should be put into recycling).
5) Plant trees, because this is a valuable contribution of man to the conservation of nature.
6) To reduce the power consumption.
I think, that the main ecological problem in Dmitrov district is soil pollution. Unfortunately, all our forests and fields are full of used bottles, cans and other kinds of rubbish. It provides to another ecological problem, connected with animals, which are suffered from so big amount of litter very much. That's why I think, that first of all we must reduce amount of rubbish, and not only reduce, but reuse and recycle it too. For example, we should reuse plastic bags, glass, cans, paper and bottles, and we shouldn't throw them everywhere and instead of it use special litter bins. What is more, it is very important to plant more trees in our region, as they absorb carbon dioxide and give out oxygen in return. For this we should hold various ecological events at schools, universities and even at work, because it helps us to communicate and to make Dmitrov district greener and cleaner.
DeleteI am sure, that everybody can do it. It is not so difficult, but in can save our region and make it the most wonderful place for life and health.
Masha and Dasha, you both have excellent points here, thanks for sharing!
DeleteThere is a lot of ways of how we can protect our natural resources of our area. But all things start from small. Firstly, we should stop polluting our neighborhood. You may think that it isn't going to help, but in reality important to keep our streets so wind doesn't spread things like plastic bags, light bottles and etc. Secondly, we should all be responsible for our neighborhood, home isn't just our flat, it is our streets and nature around it. In the end, i want to say that it is good to see clean street, forest, isn't it? We all in this together, so we all carry responsibility for nature around us.

Absolutely agree with you, Aleksander, well said indeed!
ReplyDeleteEvery single person’s contribution into the great deal of protecting the nature might be small but yet very important. And if we all do a little something to improve the situation then it might be enough for saving our planet.
ReplyDeleteLet’s save the nature and take care of it together! Michurin Nikita
Well done, Nikita!

ReplyDeleteЭто приводит к еще одной экологической проблеме, связанной с животными, которые очень сильно страдают от такого большого количества мусора. Вот почему я думаю,что прежде всего мы должны уменьшить количество мусора, и не только уменьшить, но и повторно использовать и перерабатывать его. Например, мы должны повторно использовать пластиковые пакеты, стекло, банки, бумагу и бутылки, и мы не должны бросать их повсюду и вместо этого использовать специальные мусорные баки. Кроме того, очень важно посадить больше деревьев в нашем регионе, так как они поглощают углекислый газ и отдают взамен кислород. Для этого мы должны проводить различные экологические мероприятия в школах, вузах и даже на работе, потому что это помогает нам общаться и делать Дмитровский район более зеленым и чистым.1) поддерживать чистоту нашей воды и экономить воду;
2 ) сохранять деревья и леса (не вырубать их).
3) ограничить охоту на животных и рыбалку.
